The joy of having a 2 year old

Doesn't Peyton have such a sweet innocent face? This kid is my little terror. He is so much trouble. All day long is spent saying "NO PJ" "Stop it PJ" "put that back" "get out of there" "quit hitting the wall" "quit hitting your brother"....... anyway you get the idea. Lately Peyton's favorite game is hide and seek. Meaning he hides things around the house that I need and I search all day for them.

The wipes in the dryer.

hand soap, toothpaste, dish soap, deodorant, anti bacterial wipes all found in the bottom of the refrigerator.

He has also recently decided he wants to be a baby again. He wants to take his naps in the baby carrier. Can you imagine if I had to carry his 33 pounds around in that?

So this is NOT Peyton. But I had to add a picture of Trey doing his new cool moves. He has really decided he likes to "get down' He is so funny to watch. So You think you can dance season 25 you better watch out.

reflections

Addie was invited to the awards ceremony for the S district reflections contest. She won an Award of Merit. She was disappointed that this special award was just a piece of paper. She was hoping for a trophy. We are going to have to work on her acting skills her disappointment was very evident when she was handed the piece of paper. Thankfully, she recovered quickly and had a fun night. She was very excited to see her good friend, Camilla, who lives in Payson. She doesn't get see very often.
Notice the disappointment on her face. She also insisted on wearing her heels because it was a special night.

my kids are growing up too fast

This handsome kid went to Sunbeams on Sunday. I was the proudest mom in the world when they called his name and he went and stood by his teacher. No crying or anything. He even informed his teacher right off that his shoes were blue. Which means he talked to his teacher willingly. Like I said before I couldn't be more proud. I wanted to chase him down the hall with my camera. He is in the same class as cousin Maddux. Rumor has it they were holding hands during sharing time. Isn't that so sweet?!

Christmas break

So I decided to take Addie and Trey to see "the chipmunk squeakual" this is the first movie for Trey. Everything was exciting for him, especially since I let them get the kids meal. All was well until the movie started. It took Trey awhile to adjust to volume of the movie. He spent maybe the first 15 minutes with his hands over his ears.
after he adjusted to the noise he was great and loved it!

Landan went to Arizona for a few days to work so I was alone with the kids on New Year's Eve. We partied hard with silly string and noise makers.

This is the first year all three of the kids were excited to celebrate. We also went to a party hosted by Bones and Lacee. The kids played downstairs and caused a lot of mischief. The adults played games upstairs.
After the party was over, Addie insisted on staying up until midnight to see the ball drop. At 11:54 we lost her to slumber. She was so upset in the morning when she realized she didn't make it until midnight. Better luck next year!
Happy new Year!!
