birthday bash

Landan is celebrating the big 34 today.  We celebrated with cake and going to lunch.  I bought him a new waffle maker which is a big deal to me because I hate, hate, HATE it when he makes pancakes or waffles.  I know that is probably strange to some people, but I cannot handle the mess he makes in creating his favorite breakfast item.  Just imagine splatters on the wall, counter tops and floor and pancake batter isn't the easiest to clean up.

 Addie got her pictures taken by a friend on Saturday for her baptism.  These are my three favorites.

It was an interesting year for miss payson.  This was 8th year doing the choreography.  My choreography compared to years before was very tame.  However, for the first time I had a girl complain that it was too Provocative.  She was so offended by it that when I said I wouldn't change it for her she decided to opt out of doing the production number.  I couldn't get the video to upload so if you want to see it check it out on facebook.
Addie of course, was thrilled to be a part of things.  After the pageant she had all of the contestants sign her program and get pictures with her favorite contestants.

My friends from the 14th ward had an awesome girls night out going away party for me.

Addie had a dance performance at the Covey Center

Addie and Maddi had tons of fun carpooling over to practices and performances and were very good at convincing the mothers to buy dinner each night.

Addie had her second grade program.  Mrs Brost and I have been working on it since the beginning of January

Trey has started reading Sweet valley twins and is a fan of Elizabeth Wakefield.

back in business

We are all moved in and almost adjusted to our new place.  It is a friendly area with tons of kids.  Addie has already made some pontential new BFF's.
