perhaps the strangest post yet

Life is interesting with a sister(Kristine) with special needs. Sometimes we do things way out of the ordinary to make her happy. For example: Today, two of Kristine's dolls got married. We had a big dinner and ceremony followed by a dance. Maybe the oddest part was that my mom appeared to enjoy this even more than Kristine. The lovely groom and bride, Jake and Emily

Mayor DeGraffenried performing the ceremony, with Phil and Kristine assisting the bride and groom. Jake and Emily also exchanged wedding vows

This event was definitely odd. However, the most fun and memorable parts of life are doing things out of the ordinary and what a bonus if it makes someone else happy.

that's wonderful that everyone can go along with Kristine's fun - and enjoy themselves at the same time... even your dad had a smile :)

What an awesome family you have! I have a love for people with special needs and it's not because I have someone close to me that is. I just do. I always have! I didn't know you had a sister with special needs. What kind of special need does she have? I'm very impressed with the wedding! Very nice!!!

I'm just wondering why I wasn't invited to the reception?

Looks like a good time!

I'm with CC--where was my invite to the bridal shower, the bachelor party, the ceremony and the reception? Guess this means nobody expects a gift so I won't complain too much.
(I bet your mom didn't mind planning a wedding where the bride wasn't too vocal about her opinions!)

That looks like such a BLAST!!!!!!!!! And Great pics Photog Stephanie!

That is so Nice of you guys and I bet she was tickled pink! And it looks like the grandkids loved it too!

We threw my sister a 6 year old part when she turned 35 and it was a blast. We all dressed like we were 6 ate and played games like we did at the age of 6. Acting goofy is the best way to have fun!
