Kristine graduates from high school and I am never taking Trey in public again

Hooray for Kristine! She was excited to graduate. Now she gets to go back until she is 22!!

Trey had a major temper tantrum at Brick Oven. I had to take him out multiple times. I have many bruises and scratches from him and he even slapped my mom. He threw my salad at me so I had dressing all down my clothes. He threw his sprite at the table next to us. Luckily he couldn't throw that far so no one on the other table was assaulted. However, I was extremely embarrassed and frustrated. I am pretty sure I saw smoke coming out of my dad's ears. It was all because he wanted his pizza NOW! I love Trey's guts, but he has definitely been the most difficult child so far..

That is always so embarrassing. I have to admit, though, that sometimes I want to scream when I'm hungry too.

I really like that family picture on the water. Where is that taken? Kids can be humiliating.

Sorry about Trey. It would really help if some other kids were having tantrums at the same time wouldn't it?
Good job to Kristine!

The funniest thing I have experienced is the amount of compassion other parents have for me during these frustrating times. I always feel so bad for the parents -- unless they are doing nothing in their power to help the situation... then it just bugs. But clearly you are doing all you can do. I love to go out to eat, however now everytime I go out and take Alex with me, I enjoy it less and less. Especially at sit down places.... We took her to Goodwood the on our anniversary and she had a similar meltdown. I was so embarrassed because it's a nicer place, there was only one other table with kids there (and it appeared to be less than 1 month old so they were sleeping peacefully away). I vowed to Tyson never to go out to eat with her again. Usually I bring some snacks for her to eat while we wait, but sometimes that backfires too cuz then she fills up on that and has no interest in her actual dinner and just delays her fit til we are eating and she believes it is time to exit the premises..... She's got a food time clock that is a bit more tolerant for fast food.... but I hate to go to the fry haven for every occasion and Tyson can only take so much Subway.... if there were instant food, that would be ideal. So anyway, short story long, yeah.... I totally feel for you.

I wonder how many times I have sworn never to take the kids to a restaurant...then enough time passes and I forget and we go out...and the cycle repeats. Popcorn throwing at Wingers is just too hard to resist.

so sorry, there is always one of them (one of them, it sounds like they are from another planet, oh wait) that is just waiting for the right moment to embarrass you, i guess it keeps you humble!
