my boys being tender

Peyton loves his baby. This is baby chocolate. She was originally Addie's baby. Addie is the one who named her Chocolate when she was 2. Lately, Peyton takes her everywhere. He rocks, bounces and sings to her. It is so cute! Trey sometimes takes a moment to hug chocolate too. But mostly out of jealousy because I am making a big fuss over Peyton.

Kristine graduates from high school and I am never taking Trey in public again

Hooray for Kristine! She was excited to graduate. Now she gets to go back until she is 22!!

Trey had a major temper tantrum at Brick Oven. I had to take him out multiple times. I have many bruises and scratches from him and he even slapped my mom. He threw my salad at me so I had dressing all down my clothes. He threw his sprite at the table next to us. Luckily he couldn't throw that far so no one on the other table was assaulted. However, I was extremely embarrassed and frustrated. I am pretty sure I saw smoke coming out of my dad's ears. It was all because he wanted his pizza NOW! I love Trey's guts, but he has definitely been the most difficult child so far..

k graduation, early retirement and more dance

We had such a busy week. Today, Addie Graduated from Kindergarten. I had no idea I would have such a hard time with this growing up factor. I remember thinking I couldn't wait until she was in school and now that she will be full time I am struggling.
Her kindergarten graduation was delightful. It was really cute. I just wish I could have enjoyed it rather than dealing with temper tantrum boys.

Kindergarten dance performances were also this week. They performed for the school on Wednesday and did it for their Graduation program today. It was fun and they all did a great job.

I am officially retiring from teaching k dance. This year has been really tough. I don't like relying on other to watch my kids. I don't like asking people to babysit. I don't like it when my kids get sick and I need to cancel dance and then feel guilty because I cancelled. I don't like feeling guilty because I cancelled because of course I should have cancelled. being with my sick kids is most important. And then I have double the work to do the next time I teach and well I just have had enough. When my kids are all in school, I would love to do this again. I think there is a time and place for everything and right now I need to be home more with my kids.

Addie's dance

This is suppose to be about Addie, but trey needed to show off too. Isn't this awesome?!
Lot of things going on with Addie and dance. She had her final BYU performance on Saturday. She did a good job. This week she has two kindergarten dance performances and her very own kindergarten graduation.

Addie was sick this day(threw up in a garbage can on Spanish Fork Main Street on the way to practice) and she still performed like a champ! I was very proud of her.

torch run

The torch run for Special Olympics was today. The police officers from each area run the torch to the next town. We had a lot of fun. I ran it pushing my boys in the double jogger. Trey was great he loved being by all of the fire trucks and police cars. Peyton was given crackers and suckers the whole time to keep him occupied. We started at the Red Barn in I ran with the s police officers until the switch off and then I ran with the P police officers to the hospital.. That is where I quit.
The torch run is one of my favorite events each year. I can't wait to do it again.

happy mother's day

It was a pretty typical day. Trey had few temper tantrums. Addie had a meltdown because I wouldn't let he wear her Hannah Montana flip flops to church. Peyton was in to everything. The only difference was I was showered with a few gifts and I gave gifts to others. I am so happy about this painting. I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. I really wanted to get it. Patty (mom in law) gave it to me for mother's day. I am totally undeserving of such a nice gift. But I certainly do appreciate it.
I tried to get a nice picture of the kids with me for Mother's day. This is the best we got. but it is a good representation of my life.

All in all I love my life! My kids are awesome and I have an incredible mother and in laws. I hope everyone out there had a great day.

What my mother didn't teach me about boys

So I was warned but didn't really listen.... BOYS are so different than GIRLS. I am constantly amazed at the things that amuse my boys. Every time a train goes passed our house which is about 20 times a day, they run to the window. The same for the garbage truck, police car, fire engine, tractor etc.... An airplane in the sky, no matter how high up there, it is a moment to get way excited about. Dirt is glorious!! Wrestling is not only fun it is hilarious.. and don't even get me started on balls( I am referring to the ones that aren't attached to them) But mostly what I have discovered about boys is they are a lot of fun. I don't know what I would do without them. I am happy they opened up a whole new world for me.

The other day I had to get a flat tire fixed. I was wondering what I Would do to occupy the boys while we waited. NO worries, the boys had a blast. Trey had to point out every truck and it's color. Each was just as exciting as the last. and then......

yahoo! A pothole filled with water! who needs Salem pond? Trey and Peyton spent the remaining time at the shop throwing rocks in to this tiny hole. My boys were so sad when the tire was fixed. I loaded screaming, heart broken boys in to the van and waited for them to notice that BOB the Builder was on the DVD player. Life was good again and I had a happy smile when I heard Trey shout from the back of the van "Can we fix it? Yes we can!"

I love my boys!!

Family Night Soccer

Family night is getting a little more fun and feels more meaningful now that we have two kids who can participate and the third one has his moments. We played soccer tonight. It was a lot of fun. Everyone had a blast!!!
Addie kicking with all her might.

I may be biased but I think Trey is naturally athletic.

Basketball stars

Trey had Chase over to play this afternoon and they found a common interest Basketball!! It was so nice to see Trey happily playing with Chase. He can be so stinking shy sometimes.

I think these boys are hot stuff! They definitely have a future in this sport.
