This handsome kid went to Sunbeams on Sunday. I was the proudest mom in the world when they called his name and he went and stood by his teacher. No crying or anything. He even informed his teacher right off that his shoes were blue. Which means he talked to his teacher willingly. Like I said before I couldn't be more proud. I wanted to chase him down the hall with my camera. He is in the same class as cousin Maddux. Rumor has it they were holding hands during sharing time. Isn't that so sweet?!

OOhhh, our babies! That is THE cutest thing I've ever heard! THey are getting so big. Time will tell how well the rest of the Sundays will go...I'm just glad Maddux was running around the primary during sharing time. Phew!
I too was amazed that I could leave Noelle w/out having to perform all my old tricks of sneaking out the side door of the primary room during a particularly distracting wiggle song only to have the kid notice my absence and come screaming after me....You're now two for two. How'd you get so lucky?
Allowing Alexandra to grow old enough for nursery was unpleasant. So, Alex will never go to Sunbeams if I get my way.
Or in a year since we all know that never happens.
Hopefully the only breakdowns we experience are my own.
Congratulations on both milestones.
Thanks for the comment, lady. Much appreciated. Also, I guess I should come clean and tell you I read both your blogs, and you have been a huge inspiration to me and J. Before reading your blogs and talking to you a little bit I didn't feel comfortable with adopting a child of a different race. After a lot of prayer and learning on our part, we think it's wonderful and actually would prefer it that way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Well done Steph- and Trey!
